High Point Ballet is proud to host the 2008 SERBA Festival April 30-May 4, 2008
High Point Ballet, one of only five North Carolina based membership companies, will host the 2008 festival at The Radisson, High Point Theatre, and Showplace bringing over 800 dancers, directors, choreographers, and professional support personnel along with nationally recognized instructors and musicians to the Triad. The festival consists of three days of instruction and performance and adjudicaed by internationally renown choreographer, Katherine Posin.

The content of the piece is exploration of ever-changing lines with superb movement quality. 1999 Regional Dance Of America Choreographic Award for Dreams, Artistic Director - Gary Taylor
High Point Ballet has been a member of the Southeastern Regional Ballet Association, (SERBA), since 1995. SERBA is one of five divisions of Regional Dance America, (RDA), a national association of ballet companies founded in 1988 to promote the artistic development of dance companies throughout the United States. The organization offers instruction, scholarships, awards, and performance opportunities.
High Point Ballet adjudicates several pieces for performance at the annual SERBA festival held each spring. The festival is hosted by one of over twenty-seven SERBA member companies. High Point Ballet first hosted the festival in 2004.
